Coconut Mackerel-oons
Ingredients:
6 oz mackerel (baked or canned)
1 egg
1/4 cup unsweetened coconut
3 tablespoons wheat germ
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
2. Comb through mackerel with your fingers to make sure there are no tiny bones left in the fish. Then mix it in a medium size bowl with egg, coconut and wheat germ until throughly combined.
3. Form into bite-sized balls (about 1/2 inch in diameter) and roll balls in some extra coconut.
4. Place balls on a greased baking sheet and a bake for approximately 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
5. Cool and serve.

Kids like to have milk with their cookies. Your cat may like the combinations, too. Try serving your mackereloons in a bowl with a splash of coconut milk for a tiki treat.
