"A sophisticated feline snack than even an alley cat will enjoy."
~You Bake 'Em Cat Treats by Gabrielle Tolliver
Ingredients:
12 oz chicken liver
1 1/2 cups soy flour
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
2. Puree liver in food processor until smooth. Place liver, flour and oil in mixing bowl and mix until it achieves a smooth, brownie batter-like consistency.
3. Spoon the dough onto cookie sheet and smooth with spatula until it forms a large patty approximately 1 an inch thick. (Don't worry about spreading to the edges of the baking sheet or pan, just aim for the correct thickness.)
4. Put cookie sheet in oven and bake for about 20 minutes. Lower oven to 300 degrees and bake for another 15 minutes or so.
5. Cool. Cut into cat sized biscotti bites with a knife or pizza cutter. Serve.
Do you want a biscotti?
