6 oz mackerel (baked or canned)
1 egg
1/4 cup unsweetened coconut
3 tablespoons wheat germ

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
2. Comb through mackerel with your fingers to make sure there are no tiny bones left in the fish. Then mix it in a medium size bowl with egg, coconut and wheat germ until throughly combined.
3. Form into bite-sized balls (about 1/2 inch in diameter) and roll balls in some extra coconut.
4. Place balls on a greased baking sheet and a bake for approximately 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
5. Cool and serve.
*Tip: A Coconut Milk Chaser
Kids like to have milk with their cookies. Your cat may like the combinations, too. Try serving your mackereloons in a bowl with a splash of coconut milk for a tiki treat.
