Catnip Meatballs
Ingredients:
1/2 pound ground meat (turkey, buffalo or beef)
1 egg
1/3 cup whole grain bread crumbs
1 tablespoon dried catnip
Directions:
1. Preheat Oven to 450 F.
2. Place a large baking sheet in the oven as it is preheating.
3. Add all of the ingredients into a large bowl. Knead together with your hands until the mixture feels smooth and well incorporated.
4. Roll meat mix into cocktail size meatballs (about 1/4 ounce each)
5. Using an oven mitt, take the baking sheet out of the oven. Spray the tray with nonstick baking spray and place the meatballs on it, making sure there's some space between them so they don't stick together.
6. Bake for approximately 7-8 minutes. Shake the tray every minute or two to ensure that the meatballs rotate and brown evenly.
7. Cool and serve.
